Midlands STEM students will have the opportunity of a lifetime, thanks to Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS). As one of just six U.S. schools that were chosen for the July-December 2024 period, Midlands STEM will make direct contact with an astronaut onboard the ISS and learn more about what life is like in space. Schools across the globe submit proposals for this out-of-this-world opportunity, and only 60-80 are chosen each year!
Midlands STEM's Charter and Letter of Accreditation is held by the Charter Institute at Erskine.
